Concept Art for DC's #JUSTICELEAGUE Revealed

Concept Art for DC's JUSTICE LEAGUE reveals the team's line-up of Aquaman, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Cyborg. And while we've seen the prior 4 characters, the final two's concept costumes are revealed here (above pic via @nighthawkj2 / bywayof SHH).


"The Flash" / "Barry Allen" is played by actor Ezra Miller, while Ray Fisher plays "Victor Stone" / "Cyborg". And while the uniform for Flash is not far from what we've come to expect or have seen in various incarnations in media/print/video games, I am not too excited about Cyborg's, looking pretty pedestrian generic "bad-guy" android-aesthetics, like he walked off the set of "Chronicles of Riddick" (a film I enjoyed btw) … remains to be seen how the "final" version might/will look like tho … nevertheless, here's a look at the others in the JL;

Karen Fukuhara as "Katana" in #SuicideSquad

"Katana is perhaps one of the most interesting characters in Suicide Squad. Rather than serving as a member of Task Force X, she'll instead be Rick Flag's bodyguard in order to watch his back against the threats posed by the villains he's attempting to lead into battle in the David Ayer helmed movie." Featured above is an image of "Katana" from the movie Suice Squad, while below is actress Karen Fukuhara as seen in a Playboy shoot, where the above info is based from her interview.

WHO=IS: "Karen Fukuhara portrays Tatsu Yamashiro / Katana, an expert martial artist and swordswoman. She serves as Rick Flag's bodyguard and wields the mystical Soultaker blade, capable of trapping the souls of its victims. As she is a volunteer, not a criminal, she does not have a micro-bomb implant. Fukuhara stated that Katana "has morals and codes. Wonder Woman Film Costume & Props Unveiled @ Licensing Expo in Las Vegas

At the recent Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Warner Bros. Consumer Products unveiled for the first-time costumes and props from the self-titled solo feature film “Wonder Woman” that premieres in June 2017.

Two songs from the SUICIDE SQUAD: THE ALBUM has been released, along with their music videos - featuring scenes from the film (select images of which are screengrabbed and posted for your consideration) - for "Heathens" by twenty one pilots (above), and "Sucker for Pain" (below) featuring Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Imagine Dragons w/ Logic & Ty Dolla $ign ft X Ambassadors as a "rapine'/singin' squad" ~ LOL

Both songs are downloadable when you pre-order Suicide Squad: The Album here. The OST will be available August 5th on Atlantic Records, same day as the premiere of the David Ayer-directed feature film.

A slew of poster imagery has been released for the SUICIDE SQUAD movie in the past lone day! Don't know about you folks, but the "bowl of cereal" image gets me excited that they could be made into diecut "erasers" (a childhood collecting phenom for us Asian kids decades back heehee) … while the "mushroom explosion cloud" seems trying way too hard to mixup the "real" and "comicbook" aesthetics.. BUT I LIKE IT! Muahahahahahahaaaaaaa :p
